3 tips to creating a beautiful instagram feed 💕 3 tips to creating a beautiful instagram feed 💕⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Choose a style.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s really important if you are a brand to take photos that are cohesive and consistent with each other. It is your visual personality. So what do you want your theme to be? White, minimal, tropical, colourful or moody?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Plan your posts.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To make your images look cohesive, try to plan your posts so you can work out which photos will look best next to each other. I love using Planoly to help me plan how I want my images to look on my grid.3. Freshen up your highlights. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Give your highlights a makeover. When was the last time you organised your highlights? Organising and creating covers for your Instagram Highlight Stories allows your most valuable content to show up on your Instagram profile. Where do you want your followers to go when they find your profile, how can you guide them through your content so they understand what you do and how you can help them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4 Quick Tips For Shooting Skincare 📸Skincare 4 Quick Tips For Shooting Skincare 📸Skincare has become one of my favourite thing to shoot. I love everything from packaging to the colours and texture of the product. To create really beautiful skincare images, here are a few tips to get you started.1. Lighting: If you are shooting with natural sunlight and you want a beautiful soft look, use fabric to diffuse the light and a white reflector to fill the shadows. If you’re looking for those hard shadows, you ideally want to pick a day when there isn’t a cloud in the sky. Bright sunlight will create those striking shadows and stunning glass reflections.2. Props: Include props to pull the image together, make your product look more appealing and to help create a story in your image. In this image, I used a magazine, candle, botanicals and body/hair brushes to bring the image to life.3. Backgrounds: Your background will also help to tell a story. I love using marble and stone for skincare product photography as it gives a bathroom feel to the image.4. Composition: Always begin by putting the hero product down first and then add in objects one by one to see how each item affects the overall image. Unless you are creating symmetry, stick with odd numbers in your composition. Odd numbers of objects create visual interest. Remember to allow space between each object to keep, so the image doesn’t look cluttered. You can create balance by using small objects with larger objects and using similar colours on both sides of the picture. For more tips on how to create beautiful product photography, head over to my blog.
