LIFESTYLE/FLATLAY PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY PRICES
Lifestyle photography refers to all shots that include props, backgrounds, models if required, kitchen, home or outdoor settings. They also refer to step-by-step, or infographic images that demonstrate a product in use.
The ‘per image’ rate for lifestyle images is the same as my white background rates, plus I add a setup charge for creating your chosen backdrop. This setup charge is dependent upon the complexity of the set and props needed. Some lifestyle shoots require a location hire, others will be made from simple studio sets that I’ll create for your shoot.
Style of Set | Setup Fee |
Standard | from £65 |
Complex | from £100 |
Location | from £1250 |
My minimum (standard) charge for creating a set is £55 which allows 30 minutes and includes the first shot in that set. The complex set charge allows for 60 mins to create the set, and includes the first shot.
Additional costs
Locations – There is no additional fee when shooting in the studio, however if you would like the lifestyle shots to be photographed in a house or hotel there may be a fee which will be charged at cost including any travel fees.
Props – I am more than happy to source props for the lifestyle images. My sourcing fee is £75 and all props are charged at cost.
Models – The most cost effective way to shoot with a model is to have multiple products in one day. Usually models are booked on a day rate basis (with an additional cost of a hair and makeup artist) so it would make sense to shoot a few products in one day. Depending on the model you prefer, this will affect the cost, please bear in mind there may be agency and usage fees applicable.
Hair and makeup artist – models will require professional hair and makeup styling which is usually charge out at £150 for a half day and £250 for a full day rate. Again it would be more cost effective to arrange multiple products on one day.
